These Terms of Service ("Terms") and End User License Agreement ("EULA") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Biochimio governing your access to and use of the Biochimio web and mobile applications globally.
1. License & Educational Scope
Biochimio grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use our interactive biochemistry educational platform (lessons, flashcards, 3D molecule viewers, and quizzes) on web and mobile devices.
2. Service Access & Free Availability
Biochimio is currently made available free of charge. Access to all pathways and interactive exercises is offered freely. Biochimio reserves the right to introduce optional premium features or subscription plans (Biochimio PRO) in future releases.
3. User Account & Acceptable Use Policy
When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate account information and maintain password confidentiality.
- Select a username complying with community decency standards. Usernames containing profanity, hate speech, vulgarity, or impersonation are prohibited and will be automatically rejected or deleted by our moderation system.
- Refrain from reverse engineering, scraping, or compromising the security of the application.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, including educational texts, interactive diagrams, 3D visualizations, quizzes, original software code, trademarks, and logos, is the exclusive intellectual property of Biochimio, protected by international copyright laws and treaties.
5. Apple App Store & Google Play EULA Terms
If you downloaded Biochimio from the Apple App Store, this agreement incorporates Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple Inc. and Google LLC are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and are not responsible for app maintenance or support.
6. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
Biochimio is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis for educational and revision purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biochimio disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
7. Termination & Account Removal
You may terminate this agreement at any time by permanently deleting your account inside the app via Settings ➔ Delete My Account.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
